Use this page to understand how regular work hours and overtime hours are separated in a weekly timesheet.
When Overtime Starts
The calculator flags overtime when total weekly minutes exceed 40 hours (2,400 minutes).
Overtime Formula
- Regular Hours: up to 40.00
- Overtime Hours: weekly total minus 40.00
Overnight Shift Handling
If a shift ends after midnight, entering an end time earlier than start time is handled automatically as an overnight shift.
