Payroll Time Card Guide
This guide explains how to use a weekly time card calculator for payroll processing and clean timesheet totals.
1. Enter Start And End Time For Each Day
Use Monday through Sunday rows to log shift start time and shift end time. This creates a full work week timesheet.
2. Deduct Unpaid Break Minutes
Add lunch or other unpaid break minutes each day. The calculator subtracts those minutes from paid work time.
3. Review Total Weekly Payroll Hours
Check totals in hh:mm and decimal hours. Payroll systems often require decimal values for wage calculations.
4. Validate Overtime Hours
Any time above 40.00 weekly hours is flagged as overtime, so regular and overtime hours are easy to review.
